We are seeking an Operations Manager for Schwank Turkey!

Schwank Turkey A.S. based in Istanbul, is a newly founded subsidiary of the Schwank Group, headquartered in Germany. Schwank is the global market leader for gas infrared products for industrial or stadium applications. For instance, the company heated Fenerbahçe Istanbul stadium and many more reputable objects in Turkey. For the foundation and development of the company, we are seeking an experienced operations manager who will lead and manage the company's development.

Responsibilities

• Set up production and supply chain processes and procedures
• Hire and manage a small team (3 people) in a fast-growing company
• Lead, motivate, and support the team
• Carry out production planning and oversee materials and inventory
• Manage suppliers: identify, specify, quality check, and purchase
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for inbound and outbound material
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Testing, obtaining technical certificates, and enforcing regulatory and safety standards
• Report activities directly to Germany

Required Skills

• Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
• Understand heating systems (burners, boilers)
• Ability to manage and support a small team in their functions
• Knowledge to use a business productivity software or an ERP system
• Degree or diploma in technical engineering
• Good command of English
