We work with all the Tier 1 and 2 construction companies on their biggest projects, have an Events Team that delivers events across the country and specialises in Film, Roading and Infrastructure. This position carries accountability for the execution of all planned and unplanned works during the shift, under the guidance of the Regional Manager. Also responsible to complete all paperwork for the Branch, update Manstat with any changes, verify the completion of jobs daily and report all relevant information back to the Operations Planner. As the business operates 24/7 the Operations Manager is responsible for delivering the described standard of service 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. This means that from time to time the role will be required to cover annual and sick leave, weekends and nights. Responsible for the safe and efficient undertaking of TTM projects and site operations; providing daily support and supervision to the road crew to ensure that we meet or exceed our, and our customers' quality, safety and productivity standards. Day to day responsibilities include: Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures, quality procedures are followed and that our people go home safe Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with our customers and client Day to day management of operations to maintain service delivery targets Auditing and reviewing the safety & performance of our fleet and operations Continuous improvement opportunities to maximise our significant investment in technology Key skills and experience required: Minimum 3 years experience in the Traffic Management Industry Building great relationships with all stakeholders Efficient with managing both your time and organising/prioritising workloads of others Knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems, ideally understanding of NZTA worktime rules, CoPTTM and TMPs An understanding of the complexities of contracts and contract management Experience and pride in the maintenance and presentation of equipment and fleet Proven operations management capability High level of computer and technology experience and skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work on your own with limited supervision A Class Two licence would be ideal The Right Opportunity for You?
