Job Description
Implementation, operations and maintenance of STIX, C+ ILC, E-Line, IPVPN Services and all other related network management, hosting infrastructures & monitoring system in Shatin, Kwai Chung, Tseung Kwan O and Chai Wan DC.
Conduct service review with outsources vendors/contractors and to review SLA figure committed.
Lead operation team for the implementation of network infrastructures and customer projects, including project management and provisioning work of the above Services, and to ensure all project milestones are successful completed by the target commissioning date as to enable service rollout.
Coordinate with Service Manager, HQ/TAC for work around (e.g. re-routing), improvement plan and incident report. For non-SM customer, conduct post mortem review with customer and to drive for improvement plan.
Oversee the day-to-day operations activities, such as prepare network diagram, asset and inventory list, BCP / IT DR plan for infrastructure system, security incident response plan / procedure (including physical and network security), change management procedure, vulnerability management, patch management, access policy, data centre facilities preventive maintenance plan, visitor policy, physical access procedure, Operations SOP, training procedure and log review procedure etc
Perform any other jobs assigned by the Senior Manager and Technical Director
Job Requirements
Degree in Telecommunications, IT or related studies.
5 years or above hands-on Telecommunications or IT related working experience.
Need to be independent and knowledgeable to prioritize the tasks when handling multiple faults and projects at the same time.
Need to be tactful when fronting and handling customers’ complaints and drive for improvement plan.
Good oral, written presentation and communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Technical certification of CCNA/JUNOS.
Familiar with transmission equipment, IP and routing, data communication equipment, network management system, LAN/WAN technologies, etc.
Familiar with ISO27001 standard
Customer oriented/good interpersonal skills.
Cantonese speaking and fluency in English and Chinese (spoken & written).
Good problem solving and analytical skills
