Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager located in Chennai. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, develop and implement operational strategies, and ensure the effective performance of all departments. Responsibilities include managing staff, optimizing operational processes, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with clients and stakeholders. This role requires excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

Qualifications

• Operations management and process optimization skills
• Experience in staff management and team coordination
• Knowledge in industry-specific quality standards and HSE guidelines
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Lead technical safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, SIL, etc.) across design and operational phases.
• Manage site safety operations, critical risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, petrochemical, or oil and gas related field
• Experience in high hazard industries is a plus
• Should have more than 7 yrs of experience as Operations Manager in the field of Oil and Gas industry.
