Fast paced, multiple plant assembly operation growing due to product demand, seeking dynamic Director Manufacturing Operations for multi-faceted role working throughout assembly, product development and supply chain hardgoods assembly operations for several locations.

Investments are being made in plant facilities and infrastructure as well as investing in employees to create a “promote from within” culture.

Successful in developing strategic vision and leading implementation in Best Practices

• Deliver strategic insight, decisive action and leadership for the function as well as for the entire business operation.
• Create and implement aggressive KPIs for quality, performance, delivery, and costs.
• Develop new leaders and motivate manufacturing team through technical direction and guidance.
• Optimize operating efficiencies between manufacturing sites.

Challenge the status quo and question what is possible regarding new technologies and product capabilities.

• Create a culture of action-orientation, customer focus and innovation.
• Serve as a true business partner with Executive and Operations Leadership
• Drive continuous improvement and seek ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently.

Will be groomed for promotion to VP. Base salary plus STI and LTI close to $225 -230K

Be mentored by SVP who has track record of improving production, implementing lean strategies....and looking to train a replacement.

Qualifications:

• Strong record of success against key common KPI’s (Safety/Quality/ Service /Productivity/ Material, Overhead control) in multiple assembly operations.
• Demonstrated record of development for young, inexperienced Supervisors, Engineers, Hourly Colleagues. High energy and proven leader.
• Experience with hardgoods assembly - high mix custom products esp automotive aftermarket.
• Able to travel 40%, less once knows plants and team members.
