What You'll Do
Must be able to meet deadline and fulfill project deadline after the project has been given to the office for fulfillment
Must be able to maintain an accurate inventory with no losses due to fraud, poor quality control, poor operational or accounting practices
Leads all department personnel in a professional manner toward achieving company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting all company standards
Advocates sound business practices to operational processes to supply the customer and stay within budgeting standards
Must collaborate with Area Manager to ensure successful accomplishments of project goals
Must be able to maintain and be familiar with safety and environmental concerns
Responsible for receiving, tracking, assessing and responding to customer complaints or issues
Work with managers and employees to identify root cause of customer complaints and implement corrective actions
Provides tools and training to develop employees in the their regular work, serving as a true business partner in developing solutions
Reviews customer specifications for application of products
Partners with HR in giving guidance and direction to staff with regards to hiring, disciplinary action, development, goal formulation and performance reviews
Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing the company’s exposure to adverse outcomes of complaints, litigation, audits and inspections
Adapts to change in a positive and productive manner
Demonstrates a passion for customers and world class customer service
Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience required; 3 or more years, preferred
Minimum 2 years In the Rebar industry preferred
Ability to adhere to CMC safety policies and procedures
Leader with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the projects assigned and the overall company goals.
Exhibits a strong moral character
Exceptional leadership and team building skills
Operates a computer proficiently (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Clearly communicate expectations, issues and feedback
Must be able to multi-task and follow through with task and direction given as well as give direction to direct reports
Must be able to work well with others and create a team atmosphere starting with safety
Must be able to follow instructions given by supervisor or manager in timely and safe manner
Comprehends and apply standards and procedures
Broad knowledge of marketing /sales practices
Knowledge of Logistics, Material handling, Production and Maintenance
Your Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Business or other closely related field strongly preferred
