Operations Finance Manager

Dallas, TX - Hybrid (M, T, TH in-office)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) and production standards in line with company policies and processes.
• Collaborate with operations to manage BOM accuracy and product scrap rates.
• Handle month-end close tasks to ensure inventory costs are recorded correctly and on time.
• Create and manage daily soft close procedures to improve visibility into operational and conversion costs.
• Maintain and evaluate inventory costing methods and conversion cost drivers; recommend improvements when needed.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for operational expenses.
• Develop and manage the budget for raw material costs.
• Support data accuracy in the ERP system and help expand system functionality.
• Document and update inventory-related internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed through validation and monitoring.
• Build strong expertise in Microsoft D365, including connections to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college is required.
• At least 5 years of cost accounting experience, including prior supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, logical formulas (IF/AND/OR), and nested formulas.
• Knowledge of Office Scripts, VBA, and macros is a bonus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of management.
