Oversee and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) and production standards in line with company policies and processes.
Collaborate with operations to manage BOM accuracy and product scrap rates.
Handle month-end close tasks to ensure inventory costs are recorded correctly and on time.
Create and manage daily soft close procedures to improve visibility into operational and conversion costs.
Maintain and evaluate inventory costing methods and conversion cost drivers; recommend improvements when needed.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for operational expenses.
Develop and manage the budget for raw material costs.
Support data accuracy in the ERP system and help expand system functionality.
Document and update inventory-related internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed through validation and monitoring.
Build strong expertise in Microsoft D365, including connections to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college is required.
At least 5 years of cost accounting experience, including prior supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
Experience with Power BI and Power Automate is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, logical formulas (IF/AND/OR), and nested formulas.
Knowledge of Office Scripts, VBA, and macros is a bonus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of management.
