Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Airline Ticketing and Refunds Operations Executive to manage the end-to-end ticketing and refund processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airline fare rules, GDS systems, and refund procedures. This role requires excellent customer service skills, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue, reissue, and cancel airline tickets using GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
• Handle refund requests in accordance with airline policies and fare rules.
• Process voluntary and involuntary refunds, and coordinate with airlines for refund approvals.
• Review and interpret fare rules, ticket validity, and applicable penalties.
• Communicate with customers or internal teams regarding ticketing, cancellations, and refund statuses.
• Resolve discrepancies in ticketing and refund-related transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of all ticketing and refund activities.
• Ensure compliance with IATA standards and airline requirements.
• Support internal teams with training and updates on ticketing procedures and airline policy changes.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in airline ticketing and refund operations.
• Proficiency in one or more GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
• Strong knowledge of fare rules, ticketing policies, and refund processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-volume transactions.
• IATA certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in working with travel agencies, OTAs, or airline customer service.
