YellowJacket Maintenance is seeking a skilled Operations Dispatcher to join our growing team! This vital role is responsible for managing the scheduling and dispatching of maintenance work orders while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. The Operations Dispatcher acts as the first point of contact for incoming maintenance requests and plays a central role in maintaining smooth field operations.

What You’ll Do

Dispatch & Scheduling

• Oversee dispatch operations for all Chicago-based maintenance work
• Receive, prioritize, and schedule work orders through phone, email, and maintenance software
• Dispatch maintenance technicians and monitor job progress to ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules with clients and internal teams
• Track job status and ensure clear, timely communication between clients and technicians
• Update clients with job progress, schedule changes, or completion confirmations
  
  

Client Communication & Escalation Handling

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming maintenance calls
• Provide excellent customer service to property managers, residents, and other stakeholders
• Field and resolve escalated client concerns in a timely and professional manner
  
  

Administrative & Financial Support

• Invoice completed jobs in accordance with company billing practices
• Reconcile job expensed with revenue to ensure profitability
• Assist with presenting estimates and following up for client approval
  
  

What You’ll Need

• HS Diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technician certificate strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance dispatch coordination or maintenance related field
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with dispatch software (ServiceTitan, HouseCall Pro, Service Fusion, etc)
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Fundamental knowledge of maintenance terminology and process
• Proficient in Google Suite

Salary Description
