A Japanese entertainment company seeks a Japanese bilingual Operations Coordinator to manage purchasing of sellable goods, components, and office supplies. Responsibilities include tracking purchases from planning to delivery, ensuring adequate stock levels, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities
Procurement: Oversee manufacturing and delivery of physical items for sale, ensuring timely delivery to vendors to meet release dates.
Planning: Assist in project planning by acquiring quotes, manufacturing schedules, and logistics schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Manufacturing: Support internal project planning meetings, oversee submission of design files to vendors, and assist during the proofing process.
Purchasing: Perform necessary tasks to ensure goods for resale are ordered, manufactured, and delivered on time, using purchase orders or vendor web portals.
Logistics: Maintain an on-time delivery schedule, investigate logistic issues, work with warehouses for delivery, assembly, and shipment, and track inventory accurately.
Inventory Management: Track the status of purchasing/manufacturing orders in the ERP system and identify/fix discrepancies in warehouse inventory.
Sales Order Processing: Enter customer orders into the ERP system, communicate order status with customers, and review open orders for timely fulfillment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or economics
Japanese language proficiency (speak, read, and write)
One year of experience in item procurement and ERP usage
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
Experience writing business emails
Basic project management experience
BASE SALARY USD52,000-70,000 (DOE)
LOCATION Santa Ana, CA
WORK STYLE Hybrid (3 times/week in the office)
