• King David Tacos* Founded in Brooklyn in 2016, King David Tacos is a woman-owned CPG / Hospitality hybrid food company, focused on making a better on-the-go breakfast. Our breakfast tacos are critically-acclaimed, and we have established the breakfast taco market in New York. We operate out of our 11,000 sf HQ in Prospect Heights. We produce all of our ingredients and menu items daily and then package our breakfast tacos for grab’n’go. We are a vertically-integrated, omnichannel business, currently distributing our breakfast tacos across Retail (brick & mortar, mobile, catering) and Wholesale (foodservice).Job Summary:
  
  

We are seeking a Operations & Logistics Coordinator to manage logistics, catering operations, and event coordination at King David Tacos. This role ensures timely deliveries, inventory management, and exceptional customer service during catering events. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to support a dynamic and fast-paced team.

Schedule:

• REQUIRED: Full-time, Early Morning, Saturdays & Sunday availability required
• Please note the start time of this shift is **4:30am daily**
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Delivery Supervision: Oversee retail, wholesale, and catering deliveries, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained. Optimize routes , work with drivers and ensure fleet readiness.
• Event & Catering Operations: Manage catering orders, coordinate with production and operations teams, and ensure successful execution of off-site events.
• Customer Relations: Handle client inquiries and resolve issues related to catering services.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure food safety standards are met and that catering services comply with health regulations.
• Team Leadership & Training: Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring high performance and alignment with KDT values. Support staff training and ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational excellence.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in food service or logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• NYC Food Handler’s License required or ability to get one
• Experience in team leadership and staff management.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage logistics, catering, and deliveries efficiently.
• Valid Driver's License
