Operations Project Manager

Indianapolis Metro, IN (On-site, 8am-5pm)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Project Manager to join our team and support our pharmaceutical manufacturing partner in the Indianapolis area. This role is critical in ensuring operational readiness and managing various aspects of the manufacturing process for a line that is not yet in commercial production. Looking to make an impact? Key Responsibilities:

• Deviation Management: Oversee and manage deviations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Operational Readiness: Develop and manage schedules to ensure the manufacturing line is prepared for production.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to drive deliverables and complete activities.
• Operations Coordination: Coordinate operations deliverables within manufacturing groups to ensure seamless execution.
• Tracking and Resource Planning: Develop mechanisms to track activities and plan resources for manufacturing processes.
• Documentation: Assist in drafting and reviewing necessary documents.
• Representation: Represent Operations in meetings and events as needed.

Qualifications:

• Pharmaceutical Background: Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is a must.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee end-to-end processes, including preparation, formulation, filling, and visual inspection.
• GMP Knowledge: Understanding of core pharmaceutical GMP concepts to ensure compliance and quality in all processes.
• Support Function: Experience in a support role, ensuring operational readiness without being responsible for day-to-day line operations.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage schedules, track success, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both up and down the organizational hierarchy, to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Initial Focus: In the first 30 days, focus on understanding the processes and integrating into the operations team.
