Position Summary :
We are seeking an Operations Assistant to manage data statistics and organization, as well as to develop and deliver effective store training programs. This role will be crucial in optimizing our store operations, enhancing employee performance, and driving business growth in the Singapore market. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with store management to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
Job Description :
1. Loss Prevention
Responsible for protecting company assets through the prevention of theft, fraud, and inventory shrinkage. Key duties include monitoring store activities, managing security systems (e.g., CCTV), conducting regular audits, and training staff on loss prevention procedures. The role also involves incident management, collaboration with law enforcement, and generating detailed reports and data analysis to support security strategy and compliance.
2. Data Statistics and Organization
Focused on collecting, analyzing, and reporting key operational and sales data. This includes gathering data from POS systems, inventory tools, and customer feedback, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights to improve performance. Also responsible for maintaining secure data management systems and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
3. Store Training Output
Develops and delivers training programs for store staff, covering areas such as customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge. Responsibilities include customizing training to local needs, evaluating program effectiveness through various metrics, and fostering ongoing development through knowledge sharing and performance feedback.
Skills :
- Monitor and investigate suspicious activities to prevent theft and fraud.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems.
- Develop and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct risk assessments.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Fluent in English, additional languages (especially those spoken in Singapore) are a plus.
Working Conditions :
- This position is based in Singapore.
- Regular travel to stores within Singapore may be required.
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., LPC, CPP) are an advantage
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, operations management, or store training
- Prior experience in retail environments or global brands is highly preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in security systems, CCTV, and surveillance tools
- Able to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions quickly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Technical Skills
- Familiarity with incident reporting and data analysis software
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
