Summary-
Cloud Operations Architect to lead the Operations team consisting of L2, L3, Deployment/DevOps, and DBA to bring IT operations excellence on a SaaS platform.
• Architect/Evaluate designs to meet functional and non-functional requirements, specifically addressing high-performance and highly scalable solution.
• Develop, deploy and continually improve the telemetry, monitoring and automation (self-heal, self-help, self-service) of the SaaS platform and the applications
• Design and deploy optimum SaaS solution configurations that meets scalability and performance requirements of customer.
• Ensure the Cloud Infrastructure, platform components and applications are secured and safeguarded via strong controls, monitoring and security incident management
• Craft a compelling, long term vision for SaaS operations and administration management that powers our customer support .
• Own Root Cause Analysis of incidents end to end and demonstrate quantifiable technological, stability and process improvement for Checkpoint’s Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS platforms and applications
• Enable technology support teams, customers and business users by building and continually developing knowledge base driven by analyzing practical usage/issues and related challenges.
• Will be highest level of Technical Escalation point and act as guide, coach and mentor for first and second level Application/Infrastructure support teams. Should be the · bridge between Support and Product engineering teams and faces customers and business users as and when required proactively.
• Owns and drives the end to end technical resolution of critical incidents which might need involvement from multiple parties and ensures the right collaboration and communication is maintained to ultimately get the issue resolved fast paced through shortest and the most efficient path.
• Ensure Security and Privacy Compliance by bringing industry standard best practices.
• Provide product recommendations to Engineering team that significantly enhances customer experience
• Build and manage healthy teams that collaborate with each other and with cross-functional partners to prioritize our customers, even in the face of adversity.

• Implement optimal infrastructure aligned with product capabilities
• Provide technical guidance to L2, L3, DevOps and DBA to achieve seamless service to customers
• Be the focal point to provide timely response to customers in times of critical issues
• Collaborate with Engineering team for architectural improvements based on product performance
• Provide product improvement recommendations for simplicity, scalability, robustness, efficiency
• Bring process excellence by applying data analysis on the operations/support work
• Implement and improve Automated monitoring and alert capabilities
• Implement and improve Security and Privacy requirements
• Collaborate with Microsoft for SaaS improvements by identifying new capabilities or leveraging existing capabilities of MS Azure.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor of Engineering
REQUISITES
• 10-15 Years of relevant experience
• 5-8 years of Architectural experience
• Hands-on experience on Unix/Cloud/Scripting
• Excellent Communication and presentation skills
• Sound Analytical skills to bring operations excellence
• Thought leadership in cloud architecture and optimization
• Leadership skills to motivate and guide the operations team
