Position Overview:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Operations and Project Management Intern to work alongside our experienced operations team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, job coordination, and cross-department communication—all key components of operations and project coordination. This is a learning-first role, with a clear path for growth into an operations or project management position within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day operations including inventory control, shipping, receiving, job documentation, and internal communications
• Support backroom operations by helping to prepare staging areas and job materials
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to track orders and equipment logistics
• Draft correspondences and other formal documents
• Plan and schedule appointments and events
• Greet and assist onsite guests
• Answer inbound telephone calls professionally and courteously
• Develop and implement organized filing and documentation systems
• Help manage and organize physical and digital project files
• Participate in team meetings
• Support the coordination of multiple ongoing projects using Visionality’s standards and workflows
• Help monitor inventory levels and assist with equipment scheduling
• Learn and apply project management methods in a real-world setting
• Perform other general office tasks and duties as needed
• Lift and move boxes or equipment (up to 50 lbs) as part of receiving, shipping or inventory taking
  
  

What You’ll Learn:

• Operations logistics, including shipping/receiving and inventory management
• Project tracking, coordination, and documentation best practices
• Real-world application of project management methodologies (we offer CAPM and Six Sigma training)
• A/V industry standards and processes for system installation and job execution
• Use of digital tools like Excel, ERP software, and task/project management systems
• How to communicate and collaborate across teams in a technical environment
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed in Business, Operations, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Energetic and positive attitude with strong attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in growing into an operations or project management role
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical tasks as part of the operations team
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets; ERP or project software experience a plus
• Professional demeanor and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks (if required)
  
  

Bonus Points For:

• Previous internship or experience in logistics, inventory, or coordination
• Familiarity with project tracking tools.
• CTS or A/V experience
• Interest in or experience with PMI, CAPM or Six Sigma concepts
