Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations and Business Manager to join our team at Blackstone Landscape Supply in Sutton, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business, managing key processes, and helping drive growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strong leader, with client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Blackstone Landscape Supply, ensuring smooth business functions across all departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to ensure that goals are met.
  • Lead, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute business plans.
  • Manage inventory control and ensure timely supply of landscape materials.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new opportunities and improving customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business operations, sales, management, or a similar role, preferably in landscaping, construction, or supply industries is a preference.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and Experience with computers a must.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning.
  • A passion for landscaping or a related industry is a plus.
  • 2a and 1c Hydraulics license a plus but not mandatory
  • Willingness to operate a front-end loader and forklift.
