In this role, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer as you manage billboard installations and signage assets. You will be active with planning, scheduling and supervising multiple signage management and billboard installation crews. Key measures of success in the role are: responsiveness, process management, multi-tasking, leadership, and supervisory ability.
An Ideal candidate will have a rare blend of excellent communication skills coupled with analytic rigor, ensuring the best experience possible for customers, while also continuously identifying areas for improvement. Most importantly, the position is an “operations rockstar” adaptable to changing needs and growth. We are looking for someone with the ability to manage hyper-growth, as the business evolves and scales.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities For Billboard Operations & Installation Manager
- Manage multiple units of billboard installation crew.
- Develop and manage schedules.
- Analyze and plan drive routes, timing, service and quality expectations.
- Review processes and procedures for billboard installation, rotation and maintenance, propose opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise sign installers and maintenance personnel.
- Interact and schedule with third party service providers.
- Use enterprise software for signage asset management.
- Provide training for billboard installers.
- Analyze data to identify trends and performance improvement opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support to staff and customers, both reactive and proactive.
- Identify customer challenges and create plans to proactively mitigate them.
- Communicate regularly with team and senior management personnel, collaborate with third parties and company personnel.
- Manage safety first program and procedures.
Ideal Qualifications For Billboard Operations & Installation Manager
- Excellent written communication skills with a passion for customer excellence and driving ecstatic interactions
- Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to think both strategically and innovatively
- Strong skills in developing frameworks and efficient business processes
- Roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic and “do what it takes” attitude to effectively execute independently and drive results
- 2+ years of demonstrated success in general operations / communication preferred, ideally in construction, signage asset management or another fast-changing environment.
- Knowledge of quality management processes and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and lighting management.
- The ability to work from heights.
- Knowledge of safety program management.
- Knowledge of route planning and scheduling software.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft 360 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.).
- 2+ years work experience.
