Job Description:
The OTSec Operations Manager provides guidance, leads, and performs a broad range of complex technical and professional work activities to solidify the overall cybersecurity posture for the global UPS plant floor environment. This position works with cross-functional teams to ensure our security policies and procedures are adhered to and appropriate, reducing the risk of cybersecurity events which could cause significant disruption and damage to UPS operations. The OTSec Operations Manager leads the team responsible for vulnerability identification, prioritization, and tracking, providing remediation teams the information they need to address the myriad of vulnerabilities that exist across our varied network of systems and devices.

Job Duties:
* Leads / Supports OT Security Administration
* Guides responses to and provides high-level assistance regarding service issues, problems, crises, and critical situations to support resolution and minimize downtime
* Drives investigations of OT security events (e.g., unauthorized access, non-compliance with UPS's policies, service exploitation, etc.) to determine malfunctions, breaches, and remediation steps
* Manages policy and procedure regarding security-related software (e.g., assessment scan tools, dashboards, etc.) to maintain OT security posture
* Performs detailed analytical tasks to support OT security posture
* Triages and cross-functionally escalates security events, issues, responses, and resolutions to maintain OT security posture
* Interfaces with senior management to align / balance OT technical concepts and needs with enterprise directives
* Manages and Implements OT Security Software
* Defines the development of security installation procedures and standards to ensure service continuity and to minimize downtime
* Identifies and guides implementation and usage of software (e.g., assessment scan tools, dashboards, etc.) to maintain security controls and service continuity
* Supports the implementation of security software and firmware to maintain consistency and compliance with UPS's policies and procedures
* Manages Continuity Planning Functions for OT Assets
* Leads the development and maintenance of business continuity planning, data, systems, and OT security to ensure system availability and integrity
* Leads and participates in building contingency and recovery plans to minimize downtime and protect OT assets
* Manages the disaster recovery plan to ensure critical systems will remain viable in case of emergency
* Defines Reports and Documentation
* Validates security analysis reports to document inconsistencies and violations
* Responds and Analyzes OT vulnerability and deficiency reports from OT Analysts
* Support Internal Customers
* Leads efforts with colleagues, internal customers, and vendors to enforce OT security posture and resolve and identify security and service problems
* Advises users on the administration of security tools to control and monitor OT security
* Leads Security Risk Management Functions
* Oversees and contributes to OT security awareness campaigns to ensure compliance and the protection of information assets
* Leads the implementation of OT security-related statute requirements to ensure domestic and international compliance
* Drives the enforcement of OT security concepts to enable implementation and to ensure compliance and alignment with BaSE OTSec strategy
* Defines alignment of OT security policy with corporate information security policies, standards, and guidelines
* Cross-functionally raises security issues to subject matter experts to increase customer information assurance, stakeholder confidence, and risk aversion
* Leads team to identify industry best practices, standards, methods, tools, and applications to optimize OT security posture
* Drives OT Security Projects
* Conducts information security analyses to identify action items
* Manages overall OT project development and schedules
* Drives execution of assigned functions and tasks to meet project and quality review requirements
* Records, updates, and monitors assignment deviations to ensure effective resolutions
* Cross-functionally drive team towards successful resolutions of project implementation barriers
Basic Competencies:
* Ability to describe and demonstrate Cybersecurity-specific concepts and skills
* Advanced project and time-management skills
* Ability to use Microsoft Excel to perform intermediate/advanced data analysis
* Ability to lead in a team environment to ensure results
* Effectively communicate with senior management to drive policy and results
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Information Security
* District level experience and automated project management skills are beneficial in this role
