Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems. Pay and Benefits: * Competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive * Comprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location * Pension / Retirement benefits * Paid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being. * DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). * The Impact you will have in this role: Being a member of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) team, the Senior Manager with lead the Aligned Risk team responsible for ORM coverage of the FICC legal entity and Shared Services. This leader will complete and oversee day-to-day activities (such as risk and controls assessments, incident capture and analysis, and operational risk reporting), manage deadlines and stakeholder expectations, and lead or participate in projects within their assigned areas of responsibility. In carrying these responsibilities, the incumbent must work collaboratively within the GCRO team, with other risk & control functions, as well as, with business line management. The incumbent will support reporting and presentations to senior management, the Board Risk Committee, and Regulatory Supervisors. Primary Responsibilities: * Proactively lead efforts to identify and mitigate risk through the assessment of existing processes for assigned business areas and propose process and/or control changes to effectively manage and reduce risk to DTCC * Perform independent challenge to First Line of Defense risk management processes and assessments * Maintain strong relationships with business partners and other risk and control functions * Develop, communicate and monitor adherence to risk policies, procedures and standard processes * Foster an environment of regulatory awareness and ensure regulatory compliance * Support DTCC's core risk management corporate initiatives, including but not limited to: Risk Tolerance Statements, Operational Risk and Control Self-Assessments, New Initiatives Office (NIO), EPMO, Issues and Action remediation, etc. * Demonstrate and embed the behaviors and competencies that create a risk management mentality in your organization * Support ongoing staff education and coach and develop team members on effective risk management Qualifications: * 10 years' experience as a senior risk and control professional within the financial services industry, or equivalent * BA / BS. Advanced degree and/or certification a plus Talents Needed for Success: * Experience managing relationships with and presenting to senior management * Experience with risk and control self-assessments, control testing and validation, issue management and monitoring of metrics/key risk indicators is preferred * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Strong technology background, including concepts such as application development, change management, and enterprise infrastructure * Knowledge of the security markets, post-trade processing and clearing and settlement infrastructure preferred * Strong process mapping and data collection and analysis skills * Highly motivated, meticulous, self-starter, who can set priorities, take initiative and work both independently and proactively in a dynamic team environment * Ability/willingness to meet aggressive deadlines and objectives * Strong planning and project management skils. The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
