Summary

Position OverviewThe Operations Manager will lead and manage the companys operational divisions including Inventory and Engineering Parts Lab CCD Lab and Equipment Service Lab This role will collaborate with VP of Sales and Marketing to ensure products and services are ready to deliver to our customers and the Director of Purchasing to coordinate the sorting of newly purchased materials and share management of shipping and receiving department The Operations Manager is responsible for hiring firing managing and holding accountable their direct teams while driving performance through EOS and ensuring key KPIs are consistently met This role is part of the executive leadership team and has future growth potential to advance to Director of Operations Key Objectives Strategic Development of the assigned divisionEstablish the assigned division as a cornerstone of the companys growth strategy leveraging your expertise in wire harness engineering and electronic components to drive innovation and excellenceOperational Excellence across Inventory and Engineering DivisionsImplement robust production planning and scheduling processes tightly aligned with sales forecasts to meet customer demands with precision and efficiencyOptimize and ensure that the seamless execution of the order fulfillment process enhancing accuracy speed and customer satisfactionLead the Pick n Ship Ready initiative ensuring that all inventory is meticulously organized and ready for immediate dispatch upholding our commitment to same day shippingDrive Quality Efficiency and Productivity while aligning to companys strategic goals Oversee quality control functions ensuring adherence to ISO 90012015 standards across all divisions and functional areas and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvementCoordinate effectively with the Purchasing Manager to optimize sorting and shippingreceiving processes Core ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipLead and manage the Inventory Division and Engineering Divisions Parts Lab division Lab and equipment Service Lab with a key focus on production planning to achieve pick and ship readiness for the top 300 SKUs by the end of 2025Oversee production planning aligned with sales forecasts to enhance accuracy speed and customer satisfactionEnsure robust inventory management and maintain quality control standards within all divisionsCoordinate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure efficient sorting processes and streamlined shipping and receiving operationsPromote a culture of safety compliance and continuous improvementTeam ManagementHire manage and develop a high performing team within assigned divisionsConduct performance reviews provide regular feedback and ensure alignment with company culture and goalsLead weekly meetings to monitor performance and address any issues impacting KPIsPerformance & KPIsMonitor key performance indicators KPIs weekly ensuring that all teams meet or exceed targetsImplement process improvements to enhance productivity quality and customer satisfactionEnsure compliance with ISO 90012015 standards across all operationsDeploy and monitor performance against business goals using EOSassigned Division OversightExecute the growth plan for the assigned Division as outlined by the CEOEnsure the division is equipped with the resources talent and processes needed to meet production and quality targetsProvide hands on leadership training and mentoring during initial stages of growthCross Functional CollaborationCollaborate with the VP of Sales and Marketing to align production schedules and inventory levels with sales forecasts ensuring timely and high quality product deliveryPartner with the Director of Purchasing to synchronize inventory sorting and shipping processes with operational needsWork with Sales Customer Service and Finance teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on timeContinuous ImprovementIdentify and implement opportunities for process optimization and cost reductionPromote a culture of continuous improvement innovation and employee engagementOversee the adoption of new technologies and automation and quality assurance managementProven track record of leading teams managing performance and achieving operational targetsStrong experience in hiring firing and developing talentKnowledge of ISO 90012015 standards and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with EOS Entrepreneurial Operating System is preferredFuture Growth Opportunity The Operations Manager role has the potential to advance to Director of Operations after one year contingent on performance and potential restructuring of divisions
