Job Title: OpCon Automation Specialist

Location: Englewood, CO - Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Type: 6-month contract, high possibility of conversion

Insight Global is hiring an OpCon Automation Specialist for a client in the financial industry. The OpCon Automation Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting automated business processes and solutions. This role involves working collaboratively with various teams to ensure high reliability and quality of automated processes, while consistently meeting established SLAs. The position requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and presents an opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of our client and the Automation Support group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess departmental automation needs to design, develop, test, implement, and support automated processes using current automation tools.
• Provide production support, system analysis, and troubleshooting for all automated processes and solutions.
• Work with application, development, operations, and infrastructure teams to deploy new projects and enhancements.
• Ensure proper documentation is in place for the running of all automated processes.
• Coordinate the resolution of production issues with internal staff, external clients, and vendors.
• Assist in communication with vendors and technical evaluation/analysis of products.
• Manage the automation of test requests and coordinate all testing with the requestor and the Operations group.
• Facilitate quarterly training for internal staff on the use of current automation tools and problem resolution.
• Regularly attend seminars, user conferences, and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Participate in an afterhours on-call support rotation.
• Complete all other associated automation activities as directed by the Automation Support Manager.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with process analysis, requirements gathering, and programming background.
• Strong OpCon automation experience
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to engage independently with clients.
• Strong analytical skills and logical approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent oral/written communication, planning, project management, networking, and influencing skills.
• Experience with RPA tools and scripting languages (SQL, Perl, Python, VB, Shell script).
• Enterprise Application Integration (Best Practices/Processes).
• Oracle 10 & 11G experience is a plus.
• Strong commitment to professional and service excellence.

This is a hybrid position in Englewood, CO. Compensation starts at $31/hr for junior candidates, increasing based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
