The Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire non-tenure track, One-Year Lecturers to teach in its Bachelors/Masters of Computer Science program. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction in the program, advising students, and participating in scholarship activities serving the college, university or local community as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered as a one-year appointment lecturer, a master's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study from an accredited institution is required. A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required to teach graduate-level courses.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications Preferred Qualification
Teaching experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
