Onboarding Specialist - Software (Remote)
Location: Remote (Contractor Basis)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts within EST timezone)
Pay Range: $10–14 per hour
We are hiring an Onboarding Specialist - Software to support our client, a fast-growing company in the software industry! This is a fully remote, contractor-based role where you will play a key part in delivering a smooth onboarding experience for new customers adopting payment software and hardware solutions.
About the Role:
You will serve as the primary point of contact for new customers, guiding them through the onboarding cycle, verifying key business and banking information, setting up hardware, and ensuring a seamless deployment experience. Responsibilities:
- Guide new customers through the onboarding process, from initial setup to deployment.
- Consult with customers on business verification and bank account requirements.
- Submit documentation, check for application errors, and coordinate approvals with internal teams and third-party partners.
- Make outbound calls to engage customers and field inbound calls for logged-in user support.
- Use SMS and email communications to maintain customer engagement.
- Assist customers in hardware setup and troubleshooting during onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the onboarding process and identify improvements.
- Stay updated on trends and technologies in payment processing and share insights with the team.
- Help maintain onboarding materials and customer resources.
Requirements:
- Experience in a proactive, outbound customer engagement environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
