WSP is currently initiating a search for On-Call Emergency Managers - Response to work out of any WSP office, including Jacksonville, FL; Tallahassee, FL; Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; Miami, FL; Raleigh, NC; Columbia, SC; Dallas, TX; or Houston, TX. Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
We are seeking individuals who are eager to assist during disasters on an on-call basis as a reservist employee, with the availability to deploy with little or no advance notice and for potentially long durations. This is not a full-time position.

Your Impact
* Lead Emergency Management team, providing services to clients preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters nationwide and in US territories.
* Manage Emergency Operations Center and/or Field Staging Area operations prior to, during, and post-disaster.
* Lead and perform oversight of on-site duties including logistics, supply, cost/documentation and/or resource unit functions.
* Attend periodic training throughout the year to maintain deployment eligibility.
* Support Emergency Management Project Management functions.
* Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
* Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years in an Emergency Management role (Response, Recovery or related), or equivalent.
* Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or similar/related concentration, or equivalent.
* Broad knowledge of Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques.
* Travel Required - Must be able to deploy to disaster area, with little or no advance notice and potentially for long durations.
* Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
* Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies (DO Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Emergency Management (or related field).
* FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study - Professional Development Series certification (IS-100/102/200/700/800/815).
* Asset Management and Supply Logistical Operational Experience.
* Previous experience managing Field Staging Areas or state Emergency Operations Center or related environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Expected Hourly Rate Regardless of Location: $35-40/hour.
