We’re seeking an Oil & Gas Surface Contracts Analyst to work with a major Oil and Gas company on an 8 months contract basis with the possibility of an extension.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Oil & Gas Surface work, demonstrating a solid understanding of relevant industry practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal – and willing to exercise these skills.
• Knowledge of Quorum Land System/SAP experience a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and sometimes on multiple projects.
• Handle confidential and proprietary company data and information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of basic land principles and their application with the ability to analyze land data for the entry into the land data management system.
• General understanding of land terminology, contracts, and their uses with the ability to work on projects of increased complexity under general direction.
• 4+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven track record of contributing effectively to a team while working collaboratively as a team player and independently with high levels of autonomy.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for deliverables, actions, and behaviors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations.

Education -

• 4+ years relevant experience and Bachelors degree or 8+ years of relevant experience
