A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to support the planning, execution, and interpretation of offshore geotechnical investigations. This role will contribute to the design and installation of marine infrastructure, including foundations for wind turbines, oil and gas facilities, subsea pipelines, and seabed-mounted systems. Responsibilities span data analysis, geotechnical interpretation, and design recommendations in accordance with international standards and specific project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop scopes of work for offshore geotechnical site investigations.
Identify and select suitable sampling and in-situ testing methods (e.g., CPT, boreholes, vane shear).
Analyse laboratory test results, including triaxial, consolidation, and cyclic tests.
