Position Overview:
The Dental Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dental office, ensuring an excellent patient and team member experience. This leadership role involves coordinating with clinical and administrative staff, improving efficiency and productivity, and maintaining high standards of patient care and office performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage staff productivity, scheduling, collections, receivables, and expense control
Foster new patient growth through community outreach and marketing collaboration
Oversee online reputation and support team in obtaining 5-star patient reviews
Provide leadership and guidance to office team members, ensuring alignment with company policies
Supervise daily closing procedures, deposits, and end-of-month reporting with Regional Director
Address and resolve patient and staff concerns
Provide ongoing training beyond initial onboarding
Maintain appropriate doctor/patient ratio for efficient operations
Conduct monthly staff meetings and daily morning huddles
Manage quarterly inventory of office supplies
Participate in corporate communications and initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental office
Minimum 1–2 years in a dental management or leadership role
Proficiency in dental practice software and general computer systems (Denticon is a plus)
Ability to lift 15–20 lbs
