In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

Dexterity; Mailroom Office Assistants need to work at a fast pace to sort large volumes of mail and being good with your hands; Organizational Skills; Mailroom Office Assistants need to sort the mail in a way that ensures delivery is easy and efficient. Having good organizational skills will help.


Working Conditions:

Must be able to regularly lift and transport bulk mail and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Fingerprint clearance is required. Works in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control that requires prolonged sitting or walking.
