Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office / Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our office and accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • General Bookkeeping for multiple entities
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Greet and direct guests upon arrival
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Prepare and process checks, invoices and expense reports
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Collect and distribute mail from post office and bank deposits
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Act as point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and scanning
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience

  • Previous Bookkeeping experience preferred
  • QuickBooks Experience preferred
  • Ability to exercise extreme discretion and maintain confidentiality. Employee will be required to execute a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
  • Current or ability to obtain Notary
  • Valid Texas Drivers License
