The Odoo Implementation Engineer is responsible for assisting the Solutions Architect and/or Project Manager in identifying business requirements, configuring the Odoo platform and modules, and providing guidance through the transition into the Odoo platform for our clients. All Implementation engineers will have knowledge and experience working with, and deploying, Odoo in different industries and applications. Communication skills and professional customer service are required to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze Client business processes and requirements unique to the situation at hand
Customize Odoo to meet client requests and improve their workflows
Work within assigned project team(s) across multiple implementations
Create documentation for use by the client and Klik support staff post-implementation
Participate in regular meetings to discuss project updates and challenges
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing during implementation
Provide Project Managers with schedule estimates based on experience and adhere to the provided final schedule
Suggest potential additions to the ERP system for future projects
Requirements
2-3 years experience implementing Odoo
1-2 years of Python development experience
*Odoo 17 or 18 certification a plus*
Experience in agile environments
Enterprise-level implementation experience a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to identify and solve problems without direction
Able to work alone and on a team as projects dictate
Able to manage time in a remote work environment
Capable of working on multiple projects at once
