Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and at least 3 years of experience using CargoWise software. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient export of goods, maintaining compliance with international regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the export process from start to finish.
  • Prepare and process export documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize CargoWise software to manage shipments, track inventory, and generate reports.
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to export shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all export activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any inquiries or concerns.

Customs Entry Writer – LAX,ATL,IAH,DFW

Basic Overview of Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the below function.

  • Manage the customers experience and work to ensure a happy and positive review
  • Process all ISF (Import Security Filing) entries
  • Assemble entry packets for submission to Customs and approve applicable documentation
  • Customs clearance of air, ocean, road, and rail shipments
  • Process all entries via ABI in a compliant manner so that all CBP and other government agency requirements are fulfilled
  • OGA processing
  • Obtain Freight Release
  • Facilitation and management of duty payments and ACH account
  • Classification of goods and rating of commercial invoices
  • Interface with U.S. Customs and any other government agencies
  • Ensure compliance with Tranco Global internal policies and procedures
  • Recommend solutions to drive efficiencies and foster continuous growth
  • Manage deliveries of LCL and air freight from US port/airport to customer door as needed

Experience of an Ideal Candidate:

It is preferred, but not required, that candidates have the following:

  • At least 3 years of experience using CargoWise software
  • At least 2 years of experience as an entry writer or in customs broker operations
  • Experience with classifying goods
  • Experience with OGA filings
  • Experience with ISF filings
