Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations for employees.
Provide immediate medical treatment and first aid to employees in case of work-related illnesses or injuries.
Implement and oversee occupational health and wellness programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Monitor workplace conditions and potential health hazards, ensuring compliance with DOLE, DOH, and other regulatory standards.
Advise management on health policies, workplace safety protocols, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate with HR and safety officers to address occupational health concerns, medical leaves, and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
Maintain accurate medical records and reports, including compliance documentation for regulatory agencies.
Provide training and awareness programs on health-related topics such as ergonomics, stress management, disease prevention, and workplace hygiene.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized medical institution.
Must be a licensed physician in the Philippines.
Preferably with a Diploma in Occupational Medicine (or willingness to obtain certification).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in occupational health or industrial medicine.
Knowledge of DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, OSH Law, and DOH regulations.
Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively with employees and management.
Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide critical decision-making under pressure.
