Responsibilities
Manages the daily operations of the testing center and supervises OPS proctoring staff. Prepares the facility, exam materials, and equipment for daily use. Ensures equipment is in proper working order. Promotes strong customer service, professionalism, confidentiality, and academic integrity. Guides students and instructors through test service eligibility, setup, and scheduling steps. Including additional support to students requiring special accommodations, such as individual proctoring and to address other disability related needs.
Maintains the exam registration system and the exam calendar. Makes scheduling adjustments and special provisions as able. Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports all issues that occur in the testing center. Coordinates expanded OAS operations for final exam week in Fall and Spring semesters. Assists with the development and implementation of internal and external, independent and collaborative disability-related programming (e.g., workshops, Reviews exam policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all national and local proctoring standards. Researches assessment best practices and advises fellow staff accordingly. Completes special research projects to improve assessment services. Performs other duties as assigned that support academic integrity initiatives and the mission of the department.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a post high school education and experience equal to six years)
