Summary

In this role you will: * Perform nutrition assessment and certification, counseling, nutrition education and referrals for WIC applicants and participants. * Prepare high-risk participant certification records for signature of Nutritionist. * Assist in development of education materials, Facilitate demonstrations, audio -visual presentation and other activities for participants. * Participate in quality assurance activities. * Provide follow-up nutrition education. * Participate in nutrition in services and in policy-making staff meetings. The successful applicant will offer: * High School diploma or G.E.D. College courses and/or work experience in health care field preferred. Bilingual helpful. * History of good attendance and positive work attitude. * Good communications skills and interpersonal skills. * Prioritization and organizational skills. * Sensitivity to the needs of the client population. * Must be available to work at multiple sites, Saturdays, and during evening hours. * Must have reliable transportation and a valid Massachusetts driver's license.
