ACRS seeks a part-time
NUTR – Program Coordinator I who can coordinate the effective delivery of the ACRS Congregate Meal Program, ensuring compliance with program requirements. Responsibilities include meal provision, activity coordination, accurate reporting, and maintaining standards for nutrition and participant engagement as per the Memorandum of Service Agreement.
- Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:30am to 1:30pm

- Pay range is between $26.34 to $28.66 hourly. Can increase based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.

Essential Job Functions
- Maintains compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including securing and organizing current Food Service Inspection, Food Handlers permits, and Fire Inspection Reports. Organizes and supports culturally appropriate physical, social, and educational activities as part of program services. Provides opportunities for participants to make voluntary, confidential donations.
- Trains, and oversees bilingual volunteers to assist in meal service, administrative duties, and participant engagement. Maintains volunteer records, including sign-in sheets and monthly hours for reporting. Supports for annual mandatory staff training.
- Prepares and submits timely monthly reports, including attendance records and demographic updates. Handles financial documentation, including checking handwritten receipts, donation logs, and reimbursement totals. Works with meal nutrition sites to collect and submit monthly menus. Performs annual client surveys, including the Client Satisfaction Survey and Nutrition Risk Survey. Corresponds with Tilth Alliance (Ethnic Dieticians) to schedule site visits and annual Nutrition Education workshops. Distributes and records allotted bus ticket books, reporting site totals to the Nutrition Supervisor.
Position Qualifications - Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in food service programs or community-based services for vulnerable populations.
- Strong organizational skills to meet reporting deadlines and coordinate program logistics.
- Effective communication skills. Fluency in an A&NH/PI language preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Effective ability to navigate a personal computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, e-mail, and data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet.
- Additional Requirements:
- Food and Beverage Service Handler’s Permit.
- Must have reliable transportation. If using a personal or an agency vehicle to fulfill job duties, must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under ACRS’s auto policy. If using a personal vehicle, must have current auto insurance including coverage for work-related business.
Working Conditions: The position requires regular mobility within the office or workspace, may involve sitting for extended periods throughout the day and the ability to handle objects, tools, or controls. Occasional lifting or moving of up to 20 pounds may be required. May involve tasks where visual acuity is beneficial. Work is performed in person in office. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
