Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutanix Cloud Resident Engineer to provide on-site expertise for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Nutanix solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), virtualized infrastructure management, and data center operations. This role requires a strong understanding of Nutanix platforms, operational best practices, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to meet business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Nutanix solutions and ensure system health and performance.
• Provide expert support and guidance on Nutanix HCI, virtualized infrastructure management, and enterprise cloud orchestration.
• Perform data center migration planning and execution using best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored Nutanix solutions that meet business goals.
• Conduct Transfer of Information (TOI) sessions to upskill internal teams.
• Develop and document operational procedures, system standards, and patching guidelines.
• Establish Nutanix compliance and security measures.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Provide regular progress reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-12 years of experience in enterprise-class environments and data centers.
• Nutanix Certified (e.g., NCP, NCAP, NCM) with hands-on expertise in Nutanix solutions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure systems.
• Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of virtualized infrastructure management (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft).
• Familiarity with virtualized desktop infrastructure (VDI) administration.
• Proven experience in data center migration and hybrid cloud orchestration.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, including experience in delivering training sessions.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant industry certifications and clearances (preferred).
