Assist attorney in evaluation and defense of medical malpractice, general liability, Dept of Health, external peer review, and fair hearing matters
Analyses of medical records and preparation of chronologies, narrative summaries, and focused tables as needed.
Assist in identifying and retaining medical experts.
Attend expert and client conferences by telephone or locally as assigned and prepare summaries of these conferences.
Identify applicable standards of care and complete medical literature research.

Qualifications
The candidate should have:
Excellent writing skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse License
5+ years of clinical experience preferred
LNC certification, experience, or successful academic program completion is a plus
Knowledge. The legal nurse consultant has a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical treatment and disease processes.
Experience. The legal nurse consultant has extensive clinical experience, which includes interpretation of medical records and medical literature.
Resourcefulness. The legal nurse consultant possesses a network of medical and professional resources and contacts.
