POSITIONS AVAILABLE: NPI Engineer

DURATION: Full-time permanent

LOCATION: Peterborough, ON (Onsite)

Overview:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive project leading experience in manufacturing
• Experience in NPI, process validation, I, PFMEA, Design for manufacturing, APQP, PPAP & project management
• Lead & participate in the answer to RFP requirements from potential customers about Industrialization & elaboration of the recurring & non-recurring quotes.
• Verify & maintain our current cost model based on current products & equipment evolution.
• Suggests an industrial scheme (Make or Buy) strategy & bring all the industrial constraints & ensure that the Return of Experience is taken into account.
• Contribute to the development of the product development logic.
• Plan, implementation & coordination of NPI to include: prototype build, qualification candidate build, product design, product specifications, process validations, identification of training needs & test strategy.
• Review Design & Engineering specifications & bring Manufacturing & concerns to the rest of the Engineering team
