About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team near Powell Point, TX! This school-based position offers the exciting opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them build vital speech and language skills for success in school and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering therapy services to students.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support students in improving their speech, language, and social communication abilities.
• Document student progress and communicate with the SLP to adjust therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
