Non-CDL Truck Driver (FT) - $18.50 per hour - $500 monthly bonus

Job Description

Our Non-Profit donation center has an immediate opening for a Route Driver for our Billerica, MA location. This is a full-time permanent position working 4 days starting at 6:30AM until the end of the tour. All schedules include a Saturday.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Driving a 16 FT box truck for local pickup and delivery.
• Utilizing a GPS system and maintaining a daily manifest.
• Complete delivery reports at the end of each day.
• Loading and unloading clothing.
• Complete daily DOT checklist and follow strict safety requirements.
• Continuous effective communication with dispatchers.
• Establish rapport with donors and partners.
  
  

Skills Required

• Capable of lifting, pulling, or pushing 50 lbs.
• Ability to read maps and use a GPS system.
• Ability to communicate clearly with dispatchers.
• Demonstrate a professional manner.
• Must maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  
  

Requirements

• Clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years old and above.
• Pass drug, background check and a DOT physical.
• Minimum of 2-years of driving experience with a 16 FT box or a similar truck.
  
  

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: $23.00 /hour - $500.00 Monthly bonus plan based on performance.

We are also have a part time three day shift .
