Job Description
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician serves as Tier 1 support for Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency Network. This position is the first point of contact for inbound NOC service requests, incidents, and alerts. Technicians must possess broad technical knowledge of all systems and services supported by the organization and demonstrate advanced customer service, communication, and documentation skills. As a direct report to the NOC Lead, this role requires professionalism, technical versatility, and a mission-critical mindset. Compensation for this position depends on relevant work experience; anywhere from $20-$26/hr.

Skills and Requirements
Provide Tier 1 support for all inbound NOC service requests, alerts, and incidents (Calls, Emails, Alerts..)
Monitor critical infrastructure and systems in a 24x7x365 environment displayed in NOC
Participate in any required On-Call rotations/schedules and Disaster Recovery efforts.
Report all activity to the Network Operations Center (NOC)
Attend, Complete and fully understand all training required for the position, with the ability to apply in support of all critical systems and services provided by the Operations group.
