As a Network Security Operator, you will manage and support network security solutions for our customers, both in the cloud and in data centers.
You will be working closely with our customers, many of which are among Norway’s largest and most well-known companies and organisations, in both private and public sector. In addition, you will be given the chance to work in-depth and gain valuable experience with “best of breed” security products.

You will be working with
As a Network Security Operator, you will get the opportunity to work with a wide range of tasks, for example:
- Qualifying and executing security policy and configuration changes
- Handling live issues with the rest of the NOC team and customers, including troubleshooting and follow-up
- Contributing to customer projects, like revision of security policies, migrating systems, setting up new functionality and security solutions
- Configuration and maintenance of security products
- Contact with manufacturers for follow-up
- Reporting, both internally and to customers
The vendors we work with include, but are not limited to, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, F5 Networks, Zscaler, Proofpoint, Cisco (Routing/switching, security), as well as competency within public-cloud such as Azure, AWS and GCP.
What you will bring
We Are Looking For Someone That
- Is highly motivated to work with information security and service deliveries
- Has the ability to work independently with complex tasks, be self-driven and take initiative
- Is service minded and able to communicate professionally with customers
- Has the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information, verbally and in writing
- Communicates well in both Norwegian and English
- Has general IT infrastructure skills
- Is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cybersecurity
- Seeks professional development and wants to become an expert in his or her field
- Is able to remain calm in stressful situations
- Practical or past experience from similar positions is an advantage
- Experience from customer service or sales in an advantage
Your future team: Operations
Operations is known for quick response and skillful handling of all customer enquiries. We work with operations, support, and lifecycle management on cybersecurity products. This can be stand-alone solutions for larger customers, or as part of a larger service delivery. We also operate a network operations center (NOC). Everyone in our group has extensive product knowledge and has undergone training in order to assist with incident response.

Background check and eligibility
We use Semac AS for background checks in our recruitment process. It is a requirement to be able to qualify for a Norwegian security clearance. For this reason, you should be a citizen of a NATO/EU country.
