Job Title: NOC Manager (Network Operations Center Manager) Company: CALL 2 PHONE (PVT) LTD. Location: C2P Headquarter Lahore. Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to oversee the operations of our NOC at Call 2 Phone. The NOC Manager will be responsible for managing a team of network engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, provide timely resolution of network issues, and maintain high levels of network performance and availability. Responsibilities: Manage NOC Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Network Operations Center, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and support of network infrastructure. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, identify and diagnose network issues, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner. Incident Management: Manage and coordinate the response to network incidents and outages, including escalation procedures, communication with stakeholders, and post-incident analysis and reporting. Change Management: Oversee network configuration changes, maintenance activities, and upgrades, ensuring changes are implemented smoothly and with minimal impact on network operations. Performance Management: Monitor and analyze network performance metrics, identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement measures to optimize network performance and reliability. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes. Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and maintenance activities. Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of network issues, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and evaluate vendor performance. Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to network operations and security. Implement and maintain security measures to protect network assets and data. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains within the NOC. Implement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of network operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in network operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of technical professionals. Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or PRTG. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and drive resolution. Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for incident, problem, and change management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers. Experience in the telecommunications or internet service provider (ISP) industry preferred. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, ITIL, or CISSP are a plus.
