Description

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Associate is a central Emory Digital position that supports the configuration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network services and devices. Reporting to the NOC Manager, Run or Build Manager of Network Services, the NOC Associate interacts with others to resolve issues within a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots network services and devices.
  • Interacts with customers to resolve network issues.
  • Performs inspections and upgrades.
  • Develops and maintains documentation.
  • Has strong technical aptitude about troubleshooting and testing activities related to network services.
  • Has the aptitude to perform troubleshooting, testing, scripting and coding.
  • Assists with systems, and executes modifications/changes to configurations within change control guidelines.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant IT coursework.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
