Position Overview
The role of the Production Supervisor involves managing the efficient transformation of raw materials into finished products, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and operational.
Shift Details: This is a night shift position, with some weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth and timely processing of raw materials and shipment of finished products.
Maintain and oversee the proper functioning of processing equipment.
Address equipment breakdowns promptly, coordinating with the Maintenance team for repairs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Meet individual and departmental goals and objectives.
Adhere to and enforce company safety regulations, prioritizing safety and conducting regular safety meetings.
Assist in accident investigations and provide recommendations to the Plant Safety Committee.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years of supervisory or management experience.
2-3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical school certificate or Associate's Degree.
Experience in labor relations, leadership, and training.
Strong knowledge of production maintenance and repair practices.
