Job Description: As a New Product Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in documentation of new designs including 3D models, drawings, bills of material, and technical information needed for brochures and product manuals Key Responsibilities: Create documentation of new designs including 3D models, drawings, bills of material, and technical information needed for brochures and product manuals Convert customer requirements into product designs Participate in new product development activities Ability to work with Manufacturing to implement new product designs into production Analyze where processes and procedures are underutilized or inefficient then design new processes and procedures for the business to follow Support sales and technical service in answering technical questions about new products Capability to utilize hand and simple power tools along with instruments required to set and perform lab tests Other duties as needed Requirements/Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Previous experience as a New Product Development Engineer is required Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required Previous experience creating parts and assemblies is required 3D CAD & Solid Edge experience Experience with coding languages (VBA, Python, Java, etc.); VBA preferred Microsoft Office ERP Software experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: New Product Development: 3 years (Required) Manufacturing engineering: 3 years (Required) VBA: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Mount Juliet, TN (Required) Ability to Relocate: Mount Juliet, TN: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
