About the Role


As a New Product Development Assistant, you will support the end-to-end process of bringing new products to market, from ideation through to launch. Working closely with the product, marketing, and operations teams, you’ll help manage projects, timelines, and product testing to ensure successful execution.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in the coordination of new product development (NPD) projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Support product managers in developing product briefs, timelines, and launch plans.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Conduct market research to inform new product ideas and competitive positioning.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and product specifications.
  • Manage sample requests, testing feedback, and product approvals.
  • Track project milestones and flag any risks or issues to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the NPD process and documentation.


About You


  • Experience in a product development, project coordination, or operations support role.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with external partners.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn and grow within the NPD space.
  • Passionate about innovation, product development, and bringing ideas to life.
