Role


As an Enterprise Architect, you will lead and develop enterprise-wide technology strategies that align with business objectives across all technology domains. The Enterprise Architect is the primary technical advisor between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners for complex enterprise transformation initiatives. This role requires a holistic understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and the ability to bridge the gap between business strategy and technical implementation.

The Enterprise Architect leads the development and execution of the enterprise technical vision, working across all technology domains, including cloud, infrastructure, security, data, and applications. They are responsible for creating and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework, governance models, and technology roadmaps that enable business transformation. This role requires someone who can think strategically while understanding the tactical implications of architectural decisions.

The Enterprise Architect uses their comprehensive technology experience and business acumen to identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and digital transformation while ensuring technical decisions align with business objectives and industry best practices.


Duties and responsibilities


Primary Duties:


· Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and governance models that align technology initiatives with business strategy

· Lead enterprise-wide technology assessments, gap analysis, and roadmap development across all technology domains

· Drive technology standardization and modernization initiatives while ensuring interoperability between systems and platforms

· Provide architectural oversight and guidance for significant transformation programs and strategic initiatives

· Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on business operations and competitive advantage

· Create and maintain reference architectures that guide solution development across the enterprise

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technical requirements

· Lead architecture review boards and govern technical decision-making processes

· Develop business cases and ROI analyses for significant technology investments

· Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

· Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives across the organization

· Mentor solution architects and technical teams on enterprise architecture principles and practices


Leadership & Collaboration:


· Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology strategy and digital transformation

· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across business and technology teams

· Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of enterprise architecture initiatives

· Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on technology trends and their business impact

· Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

· Develop and maintain relationships with key technology partners and industry analysts

· Actively participate in technology steering committees and governance bodies

· Mentor and develop junior architects and technical leaders


Requirements


Desired skills and abilities


· Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills

· Strong business acumen and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

· Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks

· Deep understanding of modern technology platforms and solutions:

· Public and hybrid cloud architectures, specifically Azure.

· Modern network and data center infrastructure

· Enterprise security and compliance

· Data architecture and analytics

· Integration patterns and API strategies

· Experience with enterprise architecture tools and modeling techniques

· Strong portfolio and program management capabilities

· Excellent presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels

· Proven ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups

· Experience with agile and iterative delivery methodologies

· Strong understanding of IT service management and operational processes

· Ability to balance strategic vision with practical implementation

· CCIE/ CCNP preferred, not mandatory.

· Strong understanding of Network Security Mandatory – Cisco ISE/ SDA

· Strong understanding of Cisco Firewall

· Strong understanding of Wireless Technology


Qualifications


· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· Minimum of 15 years of enterprise IT experience with at least 8 years in architecture roles

· Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives

· Track record of successful delivery of large-scale, complex technology programs

· Experience working with C-level executives and board members

· Strong background in multiple technology domains (infrastructure, applications, data, security)

· Industry certifications in major technology platforms (Cloud, Security, Data) preferred.

· Proven experience in developing enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps

· Experience with merger/acquisition technology integration preferred


Work Requirements


· Ability to travel and participate in daily onsite meetings with e360 clients and team members in all e360 geographic regions and client locations.

· Ability to travel distances of one hundred (100) miles or more per day to attend client meetings or other work-related activities.

· Ability to sit in work-related meetings for 1 hour or longer.

· Ability to work onsite at e360 offices for an entire 8-hour workday.

· Ability to travel via airplane for 1 hour or longer to attend work-related activities.

· Ability to lodge overnight away from home for multiple days to attend work-related activities.
