Network/Cybersecurity Engineer (m/f/d) in an international environment

Your challenges and areas of responsibility

-         Conception, design, implementation and operation of various LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and security installations in different forms

-         Conception, design, implementation and operation of remote access solutions via VPN, ZTNA, EDR

-         Supporting and advising our 1st level support team in all network and network-related issues

-         Analyzing and solving complex technical challenges in the context of 2nd and 3rd level support

-         Carrying out exciting network/security projects at home and abroad

-         Taking on further tasks in network services as a member of a technically experienced and committed team (currently 12 engineers)

-         Collaboration in the on-call service 7x24h

Your profile with focus on one or more areas

-         Completed IT education or equivalent education/experience

-         Sound, practical experience of network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, SDWan, VPN, firewalls, cloud security)

-         Very good knowledge of Cisco Systems and/or Fortinet products

-         Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, Google, AWS around network connectivity and network security

-         Experience with one or more products from the following manufacturers desirable: Check Point, Infoblox, VMware NSX-T, Cisco Umbrella, Zscaler

-         Experience in network automation with scripts (Python, Ansible, Postmen etc.)

-         Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

-         Motivated team player with strong customer focus as well as structured and goal-oriented way of working who enjoys working with national and international customers

-         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English

-         And last but not least, a good sense of humour and enthusiasm for the job
