Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in software development and testing.
- Experience with test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, automation, and debugging.
- Experience with a coding language (e.g., C++ or Python).
Preferred qualifications:

As a Networking Test Engineer you make sure that our massive and growing network is operating at its peak potential. You have hands-on experience with complex networking equipment, a deep understanding of networking protocols, test design and implementation chops and a background in IP network design. It's your job to make sure Google's cutting-edge technology can perform at scale.
The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

Responsibilities
- Write simple test plans, and automate others' test plans.
- Execute testing and releases of networking product/feature.
- Triage automated regression bugs, provide failure analysis and proactively escalate more complex issues to senior engineers.
- Apply debugging and problem-solving skills to ensure the robustness of network infrastructure.
- Setup and maintain Testbed infrastructure and existing test automation. Document test procedures and results.
